  2.               The intelligent formatting program.
  3.          As found in the current copy of Dos magazine.
  4. This FORMAT.BAT file does several things that the format command
  5. should do. It asks which drive you want to format, tells you if
  6. that disk has already been formatted, it tells you if the disk
  7. is in the drive and formats the disk for you. As of yet this
  8. batch file will only format at the rate your computer expects
  9. to format at. If you wish to format low denisty disks you'll have
  10. to do it the regular way until we get the needed commands added
  11. to make those determinations for you....As a caution this batch
  12. file WILL NOT format your hard drive.

  14. The inventory for this program should be as follows in the sizes
  15. stated.

  26. ***************************INSTALLTION INFORMATION************************
  27. You will need to place all of these files into your DOS directory.
  28. You will also have to rename your "Format.com" to "FMT.COM" for this
  29. program to work. If this make you uneasy, just edit the "Format.Bat file
  30. line 32 to reflect the proper file/directory names. After installation
  31. you may delete the Read.Me & Install.Bat files, All other files must
  32. remain in the Dos directory.

  35. **NOTE** If you wish to install this program as stated above you may use
  36.          the "INSTALL.BAT" to install the program for you. This will only
  37.          work if you have your DOS directory on C drive.

  40. for any part of this program. It has been tested and found to work as
  41. stated with no problems. If you like this program let the SYSOP of the
